is it too soon to consider a fall wreath?

last night we finally took down the delicious pine holiday wreath that's been hanging outside our door since thanksgiving. we were a little sad because we'd had it up for so long and actually beat out a neighbour in a silent who-will-keep-their-holiday-wreath-up-the-longest competition. so it's time for a new wreath. as luck would have it, williams-sonoma is having a sale on their wreaths for today only--20% off! i ordered the grains wreath and considered buying four others, just because they're so pretty and i'm sure they smell incredible. (i mean, really, lavender and rosemary? delicious smells.)

i really really want the floral herb wreath. i think it's magnificent.

milk and toast -- a favourite and most nurturing combination. I like my milk ice cold with a straw (one of those cute paper straws with red stripes), or steaming hot, flavoured with a little vanilla and a lot of cinnamon. my toast -- usually two slices at once, and oftentimes flanked with apple slices or cheddar cheese -- is buttery and crunchy.
