memory-full family cottage in cape cod.

there is magic in spending summer days and weeks at a cottage on the lake with the fresh, morning air breezing through the open windows, tickling mobiles and wind chimes, awaking eager souls. my family has a cottage in beautiful hamlin township in michigan and i miss it so. i miss the way it smells; the furniture and memories; closets of grandma and grandpa's clothes; the old dishes; the gravel pebbles in the driveway getting caught between my toes; the sound of the dock; the bold sunsets. michigan has been where summers were spent and this cozy family cottage in cape cod reminds me of it. it, too, appears to have many years of memories boasting from its closets, walls, and furniture.
